I would like to wish all of you a Happy New Year 2015. I hope it is filled with Happiness and Prosperity. If there is one thing I hope all of you will do in the New Year is to try new foods and new recipes. You may look at a recipe and say to yourself “This recipe calls for carrots and I don’t like carrots!”. The great thing about a recipe is that you can use it as a guide for your own taste buds. You can always leave the carrots or other ingredients you don’t like out. You can also add ingredients that you like. You could also try the recipe as written and then decide if you really don’t like carrots or you just don’t like them the way you have always had them prepared. Food should be enjoyed and savored. It should nourish our bodies and warm our hearts. Try something different this year. . . you might be surprised that you like it. Afiyet olsun!
