Quick and Easy Crockpot Teriyaki Sesame Chicken Legs
My daughter has a 12 hour stint at college two days a week, so I like to have a nice meal ready for her when she gets home on those nights. I am also a huge fan of Queen Sugar the new drama on OWN on Wednesday night so I want something I don’t have to actively participate in cooking. This recipe for Quick and Easy Crockpot Teriyaki Sesame Chicken Legs is prefect for nights like these. The most difficult thing to do in this recipe is get the Crockpot down from the shelf. I just place everyting in the crockpot at least 3 hours before I want to serve dinner. My crockpot is great because it has a keep warm setting. This way I can postpone dinner if she is running late.
I served this dish with Jasmine Rice and I can start this right before the show starts and then take it off the heat around the first commercial break. When my daughter gets home all I have to do is cut up cucumbers which balance out the sweetness of the sauce and we are ready to eat. Ya’ll know how I am about sweet “food”. But this recipe is one of my exceptions because it is not over the top sweet. I really enjoyed it and I think you will too.
