As promised, my Pepperoni Jalapeno Cheese Skillet Bread Video has been uploaded. I hope you enjoy it. The main reason I made the video is so you can see how easy it is to have a delicious appetizer that is pretty simple to make. You can go to my Easy Skillet Rolls with Pepperoni Jalapeno Cheese Dip and print out the recipe here and you can print the dough recipe by going to my Easy Yeast Bread post. This appetizer is a breeze to make. You could easily get the dough started and let it rise while preparing for a party. Then just assemble it and pop it in the oven about 15 – 20 minutes before you want to serve. The fun thing about this recipe is that you could use the basic recipe but change it to your family’s taste. My family likes so many different cuisines so it is easy to imagine many different flavor combinations that I can try for them. One will be sauteing some spinach and onion in the pan first, then adding a combination of Feta and Mozzarella cheese and possibly some artichoke hearts. Another would be ground beef with taco seasoning topped with olives, jalapeno and Mexican 4 cheese blend baked and then adding salsa and sour cream to the top. You could also do one with a few meatballs in a little Marinara sauce, sautéed mushrooms and onions and top with Mozzarella. You could even do a vegetarian one by sauteing some veggies and topping with cheese or soy cheese if you are vegan. One thing I always do is take a recipe that sounds good and adjust it to what we like. I hope you will do the same for your family.
